Maggie Liu
I was born in Xi'an, China but raised in Houston, Texas. Although I didn’t spend very long living in China, my family and culture make up a big part of my identity and it’s incredibly important to me to recognize where I came from whilst also celebrating who I’ve become.
I graduated from Baylor University with a BFA in Studio Art, with a concentration in graphic design as well as going on to complete my Master's of Science in Advertising at Boston University.
As a graphic designer, I am driven by the belief that visuals can be a powerful way to communicate ideas and emotions. I liken using graphic design as a tool to portray a story, and I am passionate about using it to create a deeper connection between a brand and it’s audience. By combining advertising and design, I strive to reach my audience on a more personal level, my ultimate goal being to create designs that not only look aesthetic but also convey a message and evoke an emotional response.
In my free time, I love to visit different cities, try new cuisines, and explore the latest fashion trends! Driven by a passion for creativity and innovation, I'm excited to explore the endless possibilities that this dynamic industry has to offer.
